Bebettes

Incredible first time experience at Bebettes yesterday afternoon. The ambience of the store was incredible, very minimalist with light greenery and crystals. I’m behind impressed with the iced blue matcha- I tried for several years to achieve a layered coffee personally, and succeeded with “pretty ones” or “ones that tasted good” and I was wildly impressed that the blue matcha managed to be both.

But, I was above all impressed with the professionalism and stoicism of the staff, Shea and Hannah, when confronted with a quite aggressive anti-masker, who refused to follow their polite requests to follow their store policy. They continued to behave with a degree of friendliness that, to be perfectly honest, even after 17 years in the industry, I’m confident I would not have been able to achieve.

In conclusion, environment, staff, and food were all fantastic.

The atmosphere sets this place apart from other coffee and tea haunts in J.C. This is a great place to order a beverage and discuss good reads with friends. You can also slow-sip hot tea and melt away to indie beats while admiring a well-tended hanging pothos. The prices are in line with the rest of the area. The Drum Circle tea is tops!

I love this place!! The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and the staff was so friendly. The sea salt caramel latte was delicious without being too sweet (also found out the caramel is made from scratch in house) and the beignets were hot, fresh and yummy!! Way better than Cafe Du Monde...Highly Recommend Bebettes!!

Best coffee shop I've ever been to, they have a drink for just about anyone and everyone who works here is really sweet!

Visited Bebette’s yesterday, and ate inside for the first time since pre-COVID! We had a larger party and all of the staff was super friendly and accommodating when we needed to move some tables around so that we could all sit together. Our coffee was perfect and our beignet sandwiches were delicious. We wore our masks walking inside, while we ordered, and when we got our food from the counter, and were free to remove them once we were sitting down to eat. Hands down my favorite local place for coffee, and I appreciate the staff doing their best to ensure the safety of all of their patrons (including the ones who don’t appreciate it).

So good!! Beignets are amazing!! Worth finding this location and getting a sandwich made with fresh made beignets!!!!

Had a Goat of Monte Cristo and an Orange Blossom iced tea. The sandwich was tasty, but TINY. And no refills on the tea. $9 for the sandwich, but $4 for the tea and no refills? Come now. You can charge these prices for these relative portions in NYC, or Druid Hills Atlanta and and stay in business, but not in Johnson City, TN.

Got some delicious to go food from here. They have beignet sandwiches! Love the chicory coffee :)))) Hannah is delightful and makes a hell of a latte. Good vibes all around 10/10 recommend

Such a cute little coffee shop. I had the Goat of Monte Cristo and a hot Chai Tea latte. The Goat was absolutely amazing and the beignets were cooked perfectly! The chai tea latte was great. You get a lot of bang for your buck here. When it's not as busy it would be a perfect place to study, if you're a student, or to sit quietly with a book and some coffee. My husband isn't a coffee drinker at all, but he really enjoyed his iced Drum Circle.

Beignets were absolute perfection. Coffee was made perfectly to order, tasted very fresh. Definitely took me back to New Orleans.
