OMG! Are you kidding me! This place has the best coffee. Look I'm not exaggerating I like good coffee, I only DRINK good coffee. No sugar no fancy stuff. Just a straight latte. Since the coffee I drink is just coffee I can tell YOU with 100% assurance that this IS the best coffee in town. And the decaf is "water decaf" so your good there too. KEEP UP THE AMAZING SERVICE and great food

My husband and I really want to love this coffee shop. It’s walking distance and it has a great outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, the staff seems inconvenienced when you order food. The food itself used to be good, but now, I feel they rush everything. Avocado toast should be served on TOAST, not barely warm soft bread. The quiche is in desperate need of salt (used to be my favorite item on the menu). Some items are a little overpriced as well. This place definitely has potential, but the staff is ruining it. Also, it doesn’t take much effort to walk food out to the outdoor seating area when there is no one in the shop... especially when your customer has their hands full with a baby and a coffee. Not sure we will be back.

I hesitate to leave this review because I want to keep this place all to myself! That's how awesome it is! They deserve a lot of business. The coffee and the people that work there are fantastic!

We have some good friends who moved to Ogden some years ago and we were visiting them.

I had said I wanted to try a good coffee place and had seen Beans and Brews coming in. We went there despite my buddy saying it was gross. I didn't believe him...I guess. Not sure what I was thinking. But it was quite terrible.

HOWEVER our way out of town he had suggested Kaffe Merc. Well I should have just come here in the first place!!

Had the Highlander grogg and got my wife a latte. The prices were very good for the quality and flavor of the dark liquid goodness we all call Kaffe.

Service was good too, the guy was very friendly. Not sure what was going on with the black nail polish, Halloween was just a few days away? Anyway, I would recommend for sure

Ordered the toast w/cream cheese, pineapple mango jelly, avocado and tomato... my goodness, so good. Latte was great too, really nice place to sit and read!

Going here is like a big boost of serotonin. Great place to wind up and laugh with your friends, or to unwind and chill by yourself or to even study. Their tea is some of my favorites and the food just hits different, even if you've had it a thousand times. Last time I went, they had little angsty pins. They might not be doing that due to covid (understandable) but it was always nice to find some peace there.

Love this place! We just moved to the neighborhood and this is an amazing cozy coffee shop just a few blocks down. Come here and relax before hiking trails!

I stayed nearby for a week and tried almost everything on the menu. Do yourself a favor and go to Kaffe Merc!

The service here is always great, but I'm not always a big fan of the coffee. We do come here once in awhile because we have friends that really like it so we like to spend time with them in this little copy shop.

I'll give a better review when I see some change. I used to love going here before the pandemic but since things started opening back up some of their new baristas are awful at making drinks, they don't have any clue it seems like! This place now has some of the worst lattes, mochas, caps, and machiattos I've had in this city and taste watered down! It used to be one of the best too which is sad. Please re-train your workers because I used to love coming here!!
