The entire staff was friendly, from the cooks to the cashier to the servers. All the food tasted amazing, so much so, that I ordered a second lunch after my first so I could try another dish. Even the tea was first-rate. I will be returning for breakfast very soon.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is fantastic (I’m particularly fond of those pancakes) but the people are just as great! I know the owner because I work at the local Food Lion and she has been a delight! Yesterday, I was also given my food at curbside by her daughter, and she was perhaps the nicest person you could ever meet! During this stressful and uncertain times, it’s so great to have such a friendly and delicious place right down the road from us! They give excellent service and, trust me, the food is worth every penny! So much so that I just had to get a T-Shirt with my last order, just to show off to everyone else!

First visit to 185. Menu filled with many great options either for breakfast or lunch. Tried a few different menu items to include biscuits and gravy, smashed potatoes, brisket, and rum rollover. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Brisket was tender and melted in my mouth. Our waitress, Mary, was great too. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant located in the Hampton Roads area of Poquoson.

This place is just great! The staff is friendly and the food is so good. Parking can be a little crazy since it is a smaller restaurant so just be prepared for that if you and your party are in multiple vehicles. I didn't go inside but the patio is lovely. Definitely would go again!

This is the place to eat if you want an amazing breakfast or lunch! It's adorable, well decorated and the food is top notch. The people who work there is nothing short of amazing . Service is impeccable, food has beautiful flavor profiles, portions are just right! Bloody Mary was spicy and full of flavor! So a word of caution: if you want to live a boring life with lack of good hospitality do not come here!

Forgot to take pictures, but will next time. Food was outstanding, although there isnt a whole lot to choose from. What they lack in variety they made up for in flavor. So, cant really complain there.
Wife had the honey chicken biscuit, the chicken was juicy being it a thigh part and crispy on the outside. The biscuit wasnt your typical flaky biscuit. It really was homemade and had a touch of cinnamon to it. Not so much that it over powers the biscuit, but enough to know it is there. Lots of flavor going on in that sandwich.
I had the brisket sandwich, brisket was pretty good and juicy enough to sogg out the bread underneath. I forgot what the dressing was called, i think it was berry chipotle or somewhere around there. Couldnt really taste the dressing on the sandwich. Now I mention the sandwich got soggy yes, but it didnt happen really quick, i ate almost 3/4 of the sandwich before the bread turned soggy.
"Smashbrowns" were okay, just some chopped up potatoes. Nothing a whole lot going on. But the fries??? My god those were A+++.

Overall, food was great, there wasnt a whole lot of people when we went in but as time passes it started to get packed. We went at around 11am. The place is rather small, but they do have outside seating as well if thats what you feel. Would go back for sure to try out other items on the menu.
Service was very welcoming and hospitable.

Great breakfast experience, friendly staff with a family feel was very supportive and responsive. Very busy during peak hours so be sure to keep an eye on your scheduling if you're in a hurry, but the pancakes and SOS biscuit were well worth it!

Best part of our visit to Virginia! This little restaurant knows how to cook! They executed everything we ordered perfectly! The smashed potatoes ....🤤 The owner is so kind and charming! If I lived here we would definitely be regulars!

Prices on some things are absurd! Their brisket burger is worth the $. Phenomenal! Waitress could be a bit more attentive though! I suppose she eats everything without napkins. LOL

It was delicious! Went on opening day for lunch. Service was friendly and efficient. I had the BLT and smashed potatoes & everything was cooked beautifully and well presented. Everyone in my party had something different and all enjoyed their food as well. Atmosphere was very friendly and cozy. We will be going back frequently.
