When they say the show is all ages, they mean it. Students, young adults, kids, old adults... The food is great, service is efficient and friendly, and the entertainment was fantastic. I had no idea a Wednesday evening out could be so enjoyable.

Food is solid. Not spectacular, but solid.
I would say its best offering is the live music at night and a varied and LOCAL beer selection, which is great.
A little outside seating/place to smoke.
Nice bartenders.

The Camel is a fantastic venue for concert goers and performers alike! Not only do they have some of the best sound staff in Richmond (shout-out to Nate for making everyone sound phenomenal and for being super helpful and easy to work with), but their food is always delicious (fish tacos FTW!) and their staff is friendly. They have open mic nights on the last Wednesday of every month, and it's always a blast!

The customer sevice was great. They actually treat you like they appreciate your business... I watched them treat everyone the same. Very nice place. I have not tried the food yet... Will update when I do. They do live music here.

Always awesome employee owned venue. Great beer selection, great staff, great food, great bands when they can. Good safe place. Mask up and head on down.

A great spot for dancing to live music. Dress casual because it's hot.

Great food, wonderful service and Brothers and Sisters played fabulous music. Hope they can play there sometime at night. Everyone there was having such a great time and made me feel like a regular! I'll be back!!

This place has one of the best happy hours in RVA that includes not only beer but also wine, liquor, and mixed drinks at half price Sun-Fri 3-7. The 24 tap selection offers a hearty assortment of styles from local, regional, and national craft breweries.
Don't let the unassuming ambiance for you! There is no pretense or attention seeking bling when it comes to enticing patrons to order something. The food here is also quite good, and this place is consistent with the quality as I have ordered many different dishes on multiple occasions. Each and every time my meal has has been as fresh and tasty as the last time I ordered it. The fish and chips is one of my favorites, and the burgers are also excellent. But what also makes this place worth a visit is the nice assortment of gluten-free as well as vegetarian and vegan options for those who have specific or restrictive diets. That means there should be something for everyone to enjoy no matter one's dietary circumstances.
Now for the music: this place has live shows every night of the week! And the venues can vary anywhere from rock to folk and bluegrass to even 80's-themed speed metal depending on the night. This is a great opportunity to see some serious talent any night of the week at a very reasonable price.
Finally, The Camel is 100% employee owned and operated. This means the staff has a vested interest to ensure they meet a high level of excellence as they have no corporate sponsors or silent owners to fall back on any shortcomings.
Supporting local establishments is a great feeling for many who enjoy dining out. The laid back, courteous staff at The Camel will ensure their patrons' dollars go far both in terms of quality and quantity at this not-to-be-missed at this employee owned gem!

Good food, wonderful service, excellent music. Gets crowded and loud which can be great or annoying depending on the day. Bathrooms are pretty small for the crowds they often have. Bartenders pour decent drinks. I definitely recommend you see at least one show there.

Fine enough space but far louder than justified for it's size. This venue is one of the main reasons I invested in serious hearing protection because there have been multiple shows I've left with physical pain in my ears.
Edit / response to the response: Yeah I totally get it, it's not entirely within you guys' control. I really do appreciate having a good space to play and see shows, don't get me wrong!
