We ordered coffee and tea and went across the street to sit at the tables in front of the library. This location is really one of the best Mill Mountains in the greater Roanoke area.

Good food just a few minutes’ walk from campus. Also, I discovered while eating here that Jon can actually hear Garfield in the Garfield comics (picture attached to review). Not a bad restaurant to have a life-changing epiphany in.

Came here for a mocha the other day: in and out two minutes, perfect temperature so it's not going to burn your mouth when you drink, and tastes great. Can't ask for much better

Home for the holidays and happy to stop by one of my all time favorite coffee shops. Drinks were excellent as always and was happyha surprised to see an expanded food menu. Lunch and two drinks was perfect!

Very quaint coffee and tea house that truly captures the beauty of downtown Salem. The staff are always extremely kind and they always offer some of the bet service of anywhere in town. Mill Mountain is truly an incredible business

Coffee and food is wonderful but the service is terribly slow. You can walk up to the counter without a line and will still wait five minutes or more until you're even acknowledged. They only have one or two people on staff at any given time so I don't blame the workers, but nonetheless the wait time is unreasonable.

After visiting the other Mill Mountain Coffee location in Roanoke, I was very disappointed by this Salem location. Although they have great coffee to start with, the cappuccino I had was mediocre at best and the rest of the food was stale. The oatmeal was dry and barely cooked and the scone was definitely a day old, despite it being a Saturday morning and a high traffic time. I expected so much better from a local chain of coffee shops which otherwise seems to value its customers and to put out good food and drinks.

The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Our order was not as expected. I asked for a club salad, which was described as being "lettuce, tomato, ham, turkey, 3 cheeses, onion and cucumber". I got lettuce, tomato, bacon, cucumber, 2 cheeses, and 4 slices of unflavored grilled chicken. I am not sure where the screw up occured. I asked for lemonade, which had zero sugar in it, and did have lemon pulp. His requests faired slightly better. He had water to drink, (although he had to go back and ask for it twice before it was brought to him) and a chicken tender sandwich, which perhaps could have been better if the tenders had been butterflied to sit flatter. Pricing was about what we expected, for our meal it was around $25. I wasn't particularly impressed, he liked it.
