"Food" is very serious about its food. There are creative specials which change daily. A recent special was their take on chicken piccata, which was truly the best I've ever had. My favorites on the regular menu include the tenderloin steak sandwich, the chicken sandwich, and the turkey burger.

Leave room for dessert. Their baked goods are exceptionally tasty. My favorite is a very simple buttermilk cake.

Usually, Judy, the owner, is there to greet you and make recommendations. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail add to the charm of Food.

Of course, nothing is perfect. "Food" is not large enough to accommodate the number of guests who show up at meal times. So be prepared to wait for a table, or do what I do, take food to go.

I've been going to Food for about seven years. Great bunch of people that happen to serve good food. They all make it a point to make me feel warm, reasonably accommodated and happy. I have to think the proprietor (Judy) is a big reason for this. Love supporting this business.

Kinda pricey for sandwiches and salads.

The set up is really cute. They have a whole refrigerator in the back selling drinks from beer to milk. They have weekly specials that constantly change on the chalk board.

I ordered the morning sandwich and it was pretty good! I thought this was the only dish that sounded appetizing to me and worth $9. It had a really good cheddar cheese that completed the sandwich. The potatoes were nice and soft and weren't too salty.

My friend ordered the tofu scramble and it tasted like nothing. The tofu was very blend and lacked in flavor. Plus the portion was very small.

I have eaten here many times. The food is always good. Not “amazing” but consistently good. The service, on the other hand, is consistently not nice. They get busy, but - even when they’re not - they’ve got all sorts of irrational rules that are NOT necessary, and are almost designed to be mean. It is almost bizarre how aggressively they try to diminish the experience by treating customers as though they are doing them a favor. Too bad.

Very noisy! Good food, respectable staff

Decided to try this place on a whim! Was pleasantly surprised. Very hip and new. Service was outstanding. Then the food came and I was impressed. Had breakfast and ordered the breakfast special sandwich and the French toast with challah pretzel bread and strawberry rhubarb compote. Both were splendid! Definitely give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

I love the name of this place, so fun to ask “hey you want Food?” . I randomly looked this place up because I was in a mood for breakfast food even though it was 1pm already. Their pancakes and breakfast sandwiches are to die for. The customer service is really good too, everyone is so friendly and inviting. I tried some of their baked good, all good nothing that really sticks out to me so far. Highly recommend for brunch or to satisfy your pancake craving in the afternoon.

Food is absolutely amazing, the scones were the best we've ever had and we're British. Plus the coffee was much better than London's. Judy and her team were very friendly. I can't wait to come back!

I bought 2 sandwiches from Food today. They were really expensive and just tasted bad. One had tons of tapenade which totally dominated all the other flavors and the other had way too much of some sweet jam. I’ll try another sandwich before I give up, but thumbs way down on the two I tried.

Awesome veggie breakfast sandwich option, and super healthy brunch options. Love the small store local deli feel. The oddest and best item, now. Ot on the menu, but they'll make it for you if you ask for 'breakfast potatoes made the old way with the marinara'. That's right marinara, so bomb.
