Caffe Umbria

Let’s be real. I came here because of the beautiful mugs. The service was great and the lattes were perfect. Arrived around 8am on a Saturday and sat by the window to people watch. Nice little place to enjoy coffee.

I visited Chicago for 3 days and went to this place every morning. They offer a myriad of unorthodox yet delectable coffee concoctions but their coffee is phenomenal just by itself. A good variety of pastries enough to please anyone. I particularly enjoyed the coffee chocolate beverage and the chocolate croissant.

Latte was pretty good but the atmosphere inside the cafe isn’t that good. It's better to grab a coffee and drink outside.

I tried their lavender latte but it was way too sweet. I don't recommend it.

Enjoyed a delicious breve latte. Umbria has smooth and luscious espresso.

Super cute Cafe with an indoor patio and outdoor patio. The coffee was great... Just what I needed on my afternoon of adventuring.

Very tasty,I had a mocha Carmel that I definitely recommend :) I only wish it was bigger ,but overall I enjoyed my coffee !

I was really disappointed coming here after seeing their high rating. I felt like their coffee wasn't anything spectacular and the shop is super small. There was 4 high seats at a counter and a 2 seat table. There was more seating in a hotel lobby next door but that was full as well. Definitely a grab and go type shop.

Maybe I'm not enough of a coffee enthusiast to appreciate their coffee but I felt very underwhelmed. I also wish they served it in a fancier cup instead of a paper one but perhaps you need to specify when ordering. Price and service were alright but felt like a very average experience.

Great lattes with even better service! The baristas are so friendly and helpful and provide excellent service. Get the vanilla oat milk latte—you won’t regret it! We went here every morning for coffee while in the city. Highly recommend!

Great shop. Baristas were all genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. Good cappuccino. Not necessarily a deal breaker for me this time, but if you’re looking for a spot to hang out for a while and work there are only a couple seats so just be aware of that before making the trip.

Nice coffee shop in the downtown Chicago, served in a beautiful antique cup. There is free filter water and sparkling water too. Enjoy your cup with piece of chocolate!
