10/10 recommend the Caffé Al Pepe.
I’m not a flavored coffee guy but this is delightful without being decadently sweet.

Great amount of space to sit down and a cool atmosphere. Darker coffee and a lot of great flavors and formats to choose from.

Great coffee and such friendly staff! No matter how long the line is - you get your coffee in no time with a smile.

Best cappuccino in the River North area! This a small shop and seating is limited. However, it is impeccably clean and the staff was super helpful.

This cafe had a big welcome sign that made me feel at home. The different aromas of coffee had me hooked. My breakfast sandwich was made fresh right at the counter where I could see it. My coffee was sweetened with natural honey and it was delish. Quinton was friendly and willing to answer my questions with no hesitation. I give this shop two thumbs up. Total five stars☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Hard core coffee place, batistas are so friendly. If you want the best coffee come here.

Personally I will avoid, many shops around which primarily sell donuts and coffee on the side.

As a coffee expert, I can definitely say this perfect coffee

Best espresso in the city. We use their Gusto Crema beans in our Breville Oracle and it never disappoints. Always friendly baristas and good cornetti as well. Love this place.

We were staying at the Westin across the street and stopped at this coffee shop every morning. DELICIOUS lavender latte and friendly, amazing service. Every person that worked there was smiling, upbeat (without going overboard), helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to help you. I’ll miss getting my daily morning coffee from here but will certainly be back next time I’m in Chicago!

Service was excellent. Great selection of coffee and coffee based beverages. I tried the Caffe e Peppe which is a latte with honey and spice. Different and tasty. I was also able to buy some of their roasted beans to make my own pour over at home for those days that I'm stuck on Zoom calls. Baked goods available. My fianceé thought the chocolate croissant was really good. Caffe Umbria is definitely worth your time if your looking for a great cup of coffee!
