Sacred Grounds Cafe

We stopped here while on our way to MO specifically looking for vegan options for me....

The vegan sundried panini was AMAZING!!! My husband got a grilled cheese. He said it was the best grilled cheese he's had!!!

Sacred Grounds is my favorite cafe in town by far. The food is absolutely fantastic! Every time I come in, there is something new and delicious to try. The atmosphere is lovely, a great place to meet with friends or read a book! Coffee to go, or to sip and relax. Amazing costumer service with a very personable staff. I always leave with a full belly and a smile!

This place is awesome! Their weekend brunch is my favorite because it's always rotating and such unique flavors. I've gotten breakfast on weekdays too, and it was delicious as well. Oh, and their baked items and coffee are superb as well. You won't be disappointed at this local gem!

I always love coming in and I usually do all of my studying here. The staff is always super friendly and helpful! I have tried many different drinks from here and they have all been fantastic! They have the best quality espresso in town hands down. The food is delicious too! I don’t think I have ever had one complaint when going here.

Ok. A hipster place with friendly counter help. I ordered a piece of lemon cranberry Bundy cake and an Expresso with simple syrup and seltzer. The coffee drink was on their chalk board in front of the register. It sounded intriguing. I patiently waited for the coffee as other people who ordered coffee after me and they received theirs. I was finally told that they were out of simple syrup. So I asked for a refund.
The piece of Bundy cake was awful. Dry, tasteless, only 2 cranberries.
It seems like a place for regulars with chess boards, etc.

New art on the walls today and awesome coffee as usual. Try the turkey sandwich for lunch.

I LOVE Sacred Grounds. Good coffee...good food...friendly people and atmosphere.
I'VE BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS and Kate, the new owner, has kept the spirit of the classic neighborhood coffee shop very alive (not corporate and unfriendly like 222 Artisan Bakery coffee shop across the street).
Sacred Grounds is a GREAT place to meet friends and family for a get together over a cup of "Joe"! I hope they extend their hours soon to include evenings!!

Food is great and big portions. Iced lattes are good too :)

I know that we're in the middle of an economic downturn , but it wasn't nice to have to wait over 25 minutes for some overcooked bacon and eggs, the coffee canisters were out, customer service was great I just can't recommend.

This quaint and quiet place is a great place to get some awesome coffee and tasty desserts and catch up with friends or play a game of chess, which several people were doing the last time I visited.
