The coffee here was fine. But the avocado toast I got was awful — soggy bread and browning avocado without seasoning. Perhaps even worse, the wifi barely worked. My friend and I both kept losing connection, even when our computers said we were connected. I asked if the baristas if they could reset the router, but they didn't as far as I could tell. I was also disappointed that, although we asked for our coffee "for here," we didn't get mugs but to-go cups. And the ipad ordering system was annoying!

There was one barista working and she was rude. She did not greet us and made 6 of us use a tablet instead of helping as she was standing there. She was very short with her words and her tone was very rude even with the tablets not functioning correctly. When asked a question she would literally flip out. Would not recommend this rude service.

The coffee was pretty delicious. I liked the atmosphere more than other places I've been (i.e. starbucks, Dunkin donuts). It had a welcoming sit down and enjoy yourself vibe mixed with a industrial theme. The Store manager was very welcoming and gave me some great recommendations. They dont take cash in covid state but its very clean with the kiosks they set up for you to use. I would love to come back again, open a good book and relax in one of their beautiful and comfy oversized chairs!

Bad customer service. I bought a big coffee and I received a tiny coffee. Baristas were rude with the elderly. They are expecting you to use the self-service tablets even when is your first time there. Self-service kiosks are confusing, and older people have problems using them. One of the baristas was rude to them because they asked for assistance.

I have been going to a lot of local coffee shops in the area, but this is the best one so far. I got a latte with whole milk and honey gram. It's really quiet and a good place to relax, study or read. The parking isn't bad but there isn't much space. If you can't find a spot in front, you will have to find street parking.

My latte wasn't bad, but the service was terrible. We walked in, no one greets you or even acknowledges that you exist. We placed our order and sat at a small table in the back. We heard the baristas calling everyone's names when their orders were ready but never heard her call our name. All of a sudden she comes to the back where the tables are and asks "is there an Edgar here?" My boyfriend then gets up to go get our order and with an attitude, she says "I've been calling you" uhmm no you haven't ma'am. We heard everyone else's name but ours. The way she said it, sounded as if she was an angry mother talking to her child. Unnecessary and unprofessional.

This place has great customer service! As for the food/ drink: The juice was really refreshing, and anyone who wants a little spice and citrus to pick them up. Latte was a solid latte -their coffee blend tastes more on the creamier side. Cookies were baked to perfection: crispy on the outside and kinda soft on the inside. Avocado toast was fine. I do wish there was salt and pepper added but they were very generous with the avocado. Screen ordering may not get you exactly what you want, so I suggest talking to the barista/ cashier (they were very friendly).

3 Bean Coffee has a wonderful atmosphere for getting together with friends or hunkering down to study/work. The music is usually very pleasant to the ears, and the staff is excellent. Internet speed for the free WiFi is very good, and this place surprisingly had one of the best bagels I've ever eaten in Baltimore. Other pastries and food/beverage options are great, too.
The only reason for 4/5 stars and not 5/5 stars is based on the size of the establishment, and the quality of the coffee (black) -- it is a bit too acidic for my liking. I wish the space was a little larger... but other than that it is fantastic!

I don’t make it over to this area often but I definitely stop here if I am! This coffee shop is top notch! Their expresso is just perfect. Friendly staff and average prices. Muffins are to die for!

Excellent coffee, in an excellent location! This is the perfect spot to grab coffee before, during or after a harbor stroll. The interior is thoughtful and cozy.
