No joke, the best doughnuts and pastries around. Friendly staff, recently renovated, and delicious treats.

I wish I had access to their peanut butter cream all the time. So so great!

Been coming here all my life, and the morning long line during tourist season is a given, but after waiting in that line my mother and I were given cold breakfast sandwiches. We sat and I convinced my mom to say something, as she was walking up the owner ( younger man) said something wrong? My mom said these are cold) he said" weren't u waiting a while?" My mom said yes( he recognized her from the line)
So he brought us up like 8 doughnuts worth probably 20 bucks and heat up the sandwiches himself. This was the kind of service you won't find here in Lansing or anywhere else really. That's why we need to support these hard working folks!!

Great bakery. Morning donuts are especially good, but they bake excellent cakes too. They're popular, so if your favorite is gone, go earlier next time!

Traveling south from Wisconsin to the dunes and stopped here for a donut. One of the best long johns I've ever had and it was almost a footlong. Good coffee as well.

My wife and I come here every time we're in Mackinaw. Its just off the main road near the water so it's an interesting mix being right by all the touristy stuff but also being kinda tucked away and hidden. It seems like a lot of locals go here.

The baked goods are clearly all homemade. The donuts are hand made and it shows(they have imperfections and arent flawless) but they are SO good. Cinnamon rolls are dense, yeasty, and have a huuuge dollop of thick icing smeared along the top(perfect for heating up and eating with coffee). Their breakfast rushes are PACKED, with a line out the door but it's worth the wait.

The ladies that work there are so kindly, I feel like I'm visiting old friends. Always so sweet.

Their tea selection is also MASSIVE. Lots of different kinds of teas at various price points. They do their best to follow trends and even got the Star Wars themed teas (my friend's first time out that way adored them so much she bought two canisters of SW tea).

One of our most favorite bakeries. The employees are always super friendly and fast. The donuts are delicious!

My wife and I came to this bakery three times while on our honeymoon this past week. Every single time we were greeted by a crotchety, very unfriendly staff member. We had ONE moment where an employee was actually nice, after she took over for one of the rude ladies. Two of the ladies seemed to just be rude, angry people in general. One of them asked how much cream and sugar for a coffee, then scoffed and acted inconvenienced when I answered. She had the same reaction to another girl in line behind me. I’m not sure why they make a big deal about adding cream and sugar to coffee. To avoid this, they could simply hand people the packets and let them add their own to taste. Maybe working in customer service isn’t for them. The only saving grace for this place was that the baked goods were so dang good. It’s too bad that the customer service doesn’t match. Probably won’t be back next year simply due to the way they treat their customers. :(

This place is amazing. The ladies working were so nice and pleasant even though they were super busy. I had a wonderful cup of coffee & the best warm blueberry muffin. My husband got custard long johns & said they were the best he has ever had. We will be back!

The pastries and baked goods were great, but I got the cappuccino coffee and it tasted like hot water with no flavor. My sister got the latte and said it was decent though.

Stopped here on my way up to the falls. Chai tea latte was one of the best I’ve ever had. Also the blueberry muffin had crusted sugar on top and was absolutely delicious. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Plus the store and antiques are very sweet. Definitely making this a regular stop on my future trips up north!
