Mackinaw Bakery

Donuts were dry and bland, similar to Kroger, and they serve hot soup in styrofoam, which melted. Sorry I don’t eat plastic.

The pastries were hard to choose from and what we had were delicious. Coffee was good. Friendly people. Roomy place to shop and eat.

A nice stop to get a breakfast on the go. Homemade breakfast sandwich was simple but good. Savory breakfast items were limited. Pastries were lovely. The women providing service were friendly and helpful. In a town that seems to be a typical tourist trap, with few good, to-go choices for food, this was a welcome find.

Blueberry muffins are delicious. Coffee is very good. Glad we stopped.

Always a wonderful stop. Great coffee. Cookies and donuts are really good as are their homemade breads. Glad to see a local institution survive throughout the ever changing corporate takeover of Mackinaw City.

Beautifully done, excellent teas and products for sale, and I haven't gotten to the bakery yet! The sandwiches are generous in size and filling - and the pastries , OH My! We split one and took one home each. YuM!

I love these Ladies who work there. They are dedicated to serve you as fast as possible and I love their Cheese Danishes. They have given me the name Danish Girl cause those are my fav and I am a regular customer. They also have breakfast sandwiches and pasties and other sandwiches as well. They have all different kinds of teas and they have a gift area. Get there early so u don't have to stand in line as long. You can also pre-order and pre pay that way u don't have to stand in line.

Saw the “bakery” in the title, and that they made donuts, so off we went. Not much of a donut selection, seems to focus more on making coffee and espresso drinks. Would’ve expected that if the name was “coffee shop with baked goods”. Food was okay, service was meh. Disappointed, will drive 15 min further next time.

Great bagels, pastries, muffins, and coffee Ext. So glad our hotel breakfast wasn’t quite getting it because we got to find this gem. Oh the pumpkin spice is Nice!
