Lindström Bakery

Just love the atmosphere, true historic small town bakery, smells so wonderful as you walk in, great selections, donuts worth driving miles for, cookies are stellar !

I love this bakery! I've grown up going there in the summer. I've made so many memories sitting on the benches outside the store eating donuts and drinking pop from the machine inside. Its a family run business and the people there are very nice. There donuts, breads and cookies are great too!

Excellent family owned bakery. Everything is amazing from the fresh donuts, bread, cookies, bars and what I stopped for today spices. Very affordable prices and they are a local treasure.

There aren't many bakeries in northern Washington County and Southern Chisago County. So, we enjoy going to the Lindstrom Bakery to get fresh-baked items.

There is a nice selection of pastries, cookies, and breads. It is easy to purchase treats for the entire family for under $5.

It's a bit smaller than the bakery I remember visiting when I was a child living in north Minneapolis, but it has that typical bakery smell the minute you walk in the door. It brings back good memories of a simpler and happier time.

There are health food items, crafts, pop, and other miscellaneous items available throughout the store.

There is a little eating area with tables and chairs if you want to eat your breakfast or treat there and not in the car.

For this visit, my daughter ordered a filled doughnut which she enjoyed. We brought back home rosettes which were delicate and lightly dusted with powdered sugar. I have never been able to make these successfully, so it's a real treat when I find them.

We will definitely be going to Lindstrom Bakery in the future.

Super cute. Easy street and off-street parking. This is CASH ONLY so plan accordingly. I can vouch for the deliciousness of the cake doughnut (dunked in HOT coffee😍) and custard-filled raised doughnut, mmmm....
Very much worth a quick stop when traveling along Highway 8

Hadn't visited in over 20 years when I was living in Linstrom attending middle school. It was a welcome surprise to go back and have the unique taste of this bakery feel unchanged by the mass standardization we see elsewhere. Great job!

Doughnuts are delicious and cheap, but the cookies must be made with shortening are crunchy/hard as a rock. Had them make our cutting cake for wedding and it was so sugary it was gritty. I will stick to getting the doughnuts

Excellent old-fashioned doughnuts. Friendly, courteous service. Great variety.

*This wonderful bakery is cash only* Walking through the door brings me back in time. This place is not fancy but doesn't need to be since the product is just marvelous. I recommend the iced cake donuts.
