Went here on lunch with my husband. They forewarn that everything is scratch made so it may take a minute to get your order. However, we were in and out in an hour. Our food was delicious, felt like grandma was in the back cooking away. The walley cake eggs Benedict was fabulous. I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes if I can stray from the eggs Benedict. 😊

Gotta give it to this place. Even short on cooks it was a great experience. The hostess knew exactly what she was doing and wouldn't seat too many people at once in order to not overload the cook. By doing that the wait time was a little longer but the food came out quick and the rest of the staff was great. I had the chicken fried steak and it was delicious and my wife had the biscuits and gravy, both were delicious. The bacon wrapped donut bloody Mary was great too and definitely a fun thing to try!

This place is terrible. We were here for over an hour. The food was very salty. I ordered the walleye sandwich that didn't have any taste. The bun was burnt. Wouldn't recommend

Cute little restaurant right off the highway in Two Harbors with a decent selection of food options, including Minnesota local favorites (wild rice dishes, Castle Danger brewery braised meat) and Scandinavian-influenced dishes. Love that you can order breakfast in the afternoon. We ate here a few years ago and I would say that the food is even better now than it was before. Would (and likely will) eat here again.

Breakfast was great. We forgot our credit card at the table when we left. Kevin was very willing to mail it to our home in ND.

Awesome little coffee shop, breakfast spot! Helpful, friendly staff. Ample seating. Good food and a clean bathroom.

We arrived at 11:00 and were told it would be a 25 minute wait. We had no issue with waiting. We were excited to try a local Cafe breakfast.
We were seated around 11:40 and our order was taken. We paitienly waited for our meal. After 40minutes of waiting we were becoming a little dissatisfied with how long it was taking.
At this time a table near us who arrived after we were sat, complained of their wait being 30 minutes. We mentioned to them that we had been waiting for nearly an hour. The couple was shocked and when they complained to the staff they also told them how long we had been waiting. That is when we were told the kitchen had lost our ticket. A manager approached the table and said he was "taking care of it" and our food would be out shortly. We finally received our food. We ate what I would call a subpar breakfast. Then the server arrived to ask if we wanted one check or two. In all of my years in the service industry I would never expect to have paid for a meal that the kitchen lost. Not even a dessert was offered. After we mentioned that we found it wrong to have to pay for everything, you then gave us half off. It is a nice gesture, however the customer should not have to tell you to make it right.

The service was friendly, and the place was clean and well kept. I had the Pesto Eggs Benedict, it was very filling. One of the eggs were over cooked but other than that, everyone else said they enjoyed their food.

Coffee was amazing! Absolutely loved it. The Eggs Benedict was good, I didn't care for the sour dough muffins. My boyfriend loved them though.
