Vanilla Bean - Two Harbors

Stood for over 8 mins to be seated, with several staff passing us! NOONE even acknowledged us. No hello, thanks for coming , be right with you. Nada!! Was excited to eat here based in reviews must be the staff writing the reviews. Unbelievable! I have been in the food industry for over 25 years and find this unacceptable.

We had lunch here on Sunday. Loved the wild rice burger. Got a table for four right away but it took some time before we got our food. A few tables got seated at the same time.

The food and service here was very good. They could stand to fix the saloon doors going to the kitchen from the dining area. Very noisy.

Party of three. Great chicken wild rice soup and the club sandwich is great also. Very good hamburger. Pancakes were okay. Service was a little slow especially with replacing the butter that was dropped. I'll try them again.

We were excited to visit today. We came up from St. Paul and stopped on our way to Grand Marais. When we came in, we asked if we could sit by the window. Apparently this was some type of extraordinary request, and the server snapped and told us we'd have to wait for it to be cleaned. Then, she proceeded to clean other tables around, prolonging our wait. It was obvious it was intentional and I was confused about the random spite. Finally she cleaned the table, but didn't seat us so we ended up seating ourselves. Then, 3 tables that came in after us we're greeted and brought beverages before us. I went to the front and asked the other waitress if we could be served and received more "great" customer service. We finally got drinks, then food after a long wait. Food wasn't great, but the customer service was so poor that we def won't be going back for another try.

Waited 10 minutes to try to order a latte to go and had three hostess/waitresses at the register NONE of them even made eye contact with me while I was standing blatantly in front of the counter/register to be served. Most ridiculous way to treat customers.

I had their walleye sandwich and it rate right up there with the best I've had!! Don't forget a carmel roll...

My husband and I love going here. The food is always good, and the service is great. Also, their specialty coffee is amazing. Always get one with whatever I order. I highly recommend stopping by and trying their brunch.

Delicious food and friendly service. It can be busy at peak times so come early or come patient.

We visited for the first time and will definitely be back! All day brunch is amazing, the food was wonderful (Grand Portage omelet and Biscuits and gravy), there are vegetarian options and clearly marked gluten free options. The service was phenomenal. Our server was Kalley and she was friendly and attentive. The other staff were so kind as well. All around great experience!!
