Latella Gelato

Just picked up some takeout gelato from Latella and it was a great experience! Great customer service and we felt very safe with their COVID precautions. The gelato was absolutely delicious and we especially enjoyed the peanut butter patty!!!

High quality gelato with a great variety. We love that everytime we visit they have new flavors and some old favorites. Also, the staff is so nice.

Always at least one sugar free option. Great for those with restrictions looking for a treat in the area.

Chocolate with chocolate chip was today's option and while it wasn't my Forte as someone who doesn't order chocolate often, it was still good.

The pistacho gelato with nuts was so yummy! We stopped by here several times during our trip to Carolina Beach - the service was Excellent every time!! Can't wait to go back!

Vegan gelato options - extremely good, definitely plan to return and try other flavors.

Best gelato in the area, and the owners and staff are friendly and helpful. They have some classic flavors and really neat ones, too. Now that the weather is getting nicer, this place should be a must-stop on the island. You won't disagree!

Braved the rain and passed 3 icecream shops to have the ice cream here! So excited to be able to find vegan and dairy free ice creams on our vacation. Super good!

Great Gelato and service. We liked all the flavors we tried in our group. Vanilla latte was a favorite!

We have been hoping an authentic Gelato spot would show up in Wilmington! Guess what. ...it did! Latella on the Carolina Beach Boardwalk is the best gelato we have ever had in the states. Italy is our favorite vacation spot and we have been there many times. That is how we got hooked on gelato.
Now we won't miss it so much when we're not in Europe.
If you miss gelato or have never had gelato get yourself down to Latella! The flavors change frequently and I'm sure you'll find a favorite. I actually tried the vegan chocolate hazelnut today it is made with a combination of coconut, almond and another non dairy! Very Good!!

We did not get to enjoy, the little one had fallen off to sleep and a thunderstorm blew in; hence, we elected to drive on to Wrightsville Beach. However, we shall return and explore and enjoy the goodies. We feel that the pricing is justified. Having traveled to Italy, Gelato is a Super treat. Enjoy my friends. "ALLONS."
