Einstein Bros. Bagels

Exceptional egg sandwiches, a large variety of bagels and good coffee! New item: Eggel (egg whites with red peppers and mushrooms) shaped like a bagel. The Caribou coffee is supreme and always deliciously hot!

As expected of Einstein Bros it was absolutely delicious. The staff was courteous and the restaurant was clean. I really loved the outdoor seating that they have.

Every time I get a to go order from there they mess it up. It’s either not ready or completely wrong. They lock the doors half the time they are open and nobody seems to know what they are doing. It might be the worst managed restaurant in Memphis. It’s a shame because the food is delicious. Unfortunately I have been burned too many times and will not be going back.

3 trips here. 3 orders made incorrectly. I have spent no less than 25 minutes here each time trying to get food to go. I can’t keep coming to a place that can’t make a simple order correctly (farmhouse with no pepper shmear)

To make it worse the employees ignored me for several minutes when I came back up to the front to get the correct order made.

UPDATE: I came back up to the front to ask how much longer my remake order would be only to find out they completely forgot about it and then the kid behind the counter tried to lie about it. Finally, one of the employees laughed at me when I asked for a refund on my order. Spent 40 minutes here in total on this third and final trip. Totally rude and unprofessional.

SECOND UPDATE: I finally received a cold and half cooked sandwich.

I LOVE and crave this place but it seems like they’re never open. And you really can’t find out if they’re open on line bc their hours change too frequently. So I waste gas coming to see whether or not they are. Wish we had 3 or 4 locations in this area.

Craving nova lox, I drove 40 minutes to the closest place - Einstein Bagels. What I got was the smallest portion of salmon ever. Ppl were friendly but I won’t be going back to this location or recommending it. Too bad because the store seemed like a nice place.

Expensive, but terrific. Lots of bagel varieties and one of the very few places in town that have nova lox, although don't expect more than a taste. Service good and it has a laid-back atmosphere, with couches and newspapers.

Another morning, another delayed opening. Sad to see. I had come the last couple Saturdays and they had been giving great service. Just can’t quite get it together.

Great bagels, nice atmosphere; they just need to have two check-out stations for their customers on the weekends. And hopefully they establish additional locations in town because this place gets very busy on the weekends. Good job guys!
