Kneaders Bakery & Cafe

Just returned my breakfast sandwich. Couldn’t figure out why it was crunch until I started spitting out all the egg shells.
They offered to make another but if they didn’t do it right in the first place what makes me think they will do it right the second time?
Was the pre tip not enough?
Won’t be back here again.

I'm writing this review mostly in case it is helpful feedback for the manager(s) of SF kneaders-

I've always loved kneaders and the food served there, specifically their turkey cranberry sunflower salad I think is to die for!
But recently when I've gotten a salad here, the lettuce is very old, rotten and unwashed, one time, upon further inspection, I found a fly in the greens.
I understand that sometimes circumstances just line up and the customer is unlucky, but it's happened enough times that it kinda feels like a pattern.

Anyway, I love kneaders, and it's only the salad that I've had issues with, everything else I can highly recommend 👌🏼

I went here for lunch for the first time thru the drive thru. It was fast and the cashier repeated to order back correctly but when i got my turkey bacon avocado home there was no bacon! Such disappointment for a first timer! Other than that the turkey avocado on focaccia bread was very good. The turkey and cheese was of very high quality and the bread fresh, soft and tasty. I will give them another chance since the quality was so great.

The cappuccino was more like a latte, and the double shot of espresso was just noticeable. The oatmeal raisin cookie was tasty. The server was friendly and helpful.

Called in to order French toast at 1050 and they close breakfast at 1100 and they wouldn’t place it. Ordered through the app with no issues. Customer service here sucks.

This may be my last time ordering from
kneaders. Placed an order online for pick up. Came to pick up and 35 minutes later still waiting. I would not recommend this place. Very poor service.

One of my favorite places for a quick lunch and a sweet treat. My favorite is the turkey bacon focaccia sandwich (pictured). We also LOVE their French toast! So yummy! In the fall you have to try their pumpkin bread and love their soups in the winter. #lfthx

I love Kneaders and this location is awesome. I love that they have a drive thru! Life saver! Their soup and bread is always delicious! And I can’t get enough of their sugar cookies. Seriously, it is all amazing! #lfthx

Food is great and pricing is decent. Their sourdough pancakes are a must have! However, they do tend to take a bit longer than most places. Always have great customer service.

This is the only Kneaders close to me, so it’s my go-to location. There have been several times where they forgot things from my order. This time I ordered a southwest bbq chicken salad from the drive-thru and asked for no tomatoes. They left off the tomatoes, but also forgot the bbq sauce, red onions, and cilantro. So I paid $10 for only half of the salad I ordered. I usually check my order before I drive off, but this time I was in a hurry and forgot. I know mistakes happen, but forgetting half the toppings on a salad seems like a big oversight to me! It’s a busy location so the lines are also usually pretty long, and it’s one of those drive-thrus you can’t get out of once you’re in it so you’re stuck waiting. Once I waited 20 minutes before I even got to the window.
UPDATE: Kneaders did reach out after this review was posted to make things right regarding the salad incident.
