Ordered Mushroom Burger, really good. A little messy like it should be. Potato salad on the side was old fashioned the way I like it with big chunks of potatoes. Very small town charm inside (rough around the edges) but clean. Even though we were not locals, the staff treated us well. Overall a good experience.

We absolutely loved this little friendly Cafe with excellent food and a friendly atmosphere. So worth the trip, just a quick 5 minutes from I-5. Highly recommend. Family owned and operated.

My friend and I stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner after a day of looking at a property near Vader. We ordered two Bacon Cheeseburger baskets with Pepsi and Diet Pepsi, carry out, with only meager expectations (based on experiences with other small town cafe's). What an absolute joy to get the best burgers we've found within 75 miles of Vader! LARGE traditional bacon cheeseburgers with perfect buns, thick, juicy, perfectly cooked patties, right amount of cheese and plenty of fries. I give 5 stars for the food...but only 4 for the service. The staff was very friendly and helpful and food was cooked to order in record time. The only disappointment...no napkins, salt, pepper or ketchup in bag when delivered and none offered. This was very annoying as we were eating in the vehicle and didn't discover the omission until too late. Luckily, being experienced travelers, we had a few salt, pepper and ketchup for such "emergencies" but... only one small napkin, for her, stashed in the console. Needless to say, I changed my shirt when I got home. Please ask for them if you want/need them so you can fully enjoy the truly exceptional burger! I will be back!

I have never been disappointed dining here. Breakfast lunch or dinner. Best prime rib in Washington state I've had so far only available Friday and Saturday. Friendly service. One of southwest Washington's best kept secrets.

We drove well off I-5 on our way to Fort Stevens to eat at a place my wife found online which was highly rated. The town of Vader reminded me a bit of Cle Elum or Roslyn, and the Little Crane Cafe was so homey and friendly. The food was really good and portions were nicely sized. The cook did a little bit of everything, including talking to all the customers and getting food out to tables. The wait staff was very busy and efficient. You could tell this was the local hang out, but we felt welcomed, well taken care of and recharged for more driving after our lunch. I hope we are able to stop in again in the future.

Large menu selection. Reasonably priced, great food, awesome staff. The chef even sings! Cons are, its a little cramped an the antique decor could use a good dusting. An if your a stickler like me about restraunt staff wear their masks properly then you might not like it here.

Never a bad experience. It's a relaxing place to hang with friends sharing a tasty meal. Food is delicious. The service is awesome. It's a great little cafe. If you're lucky; you'll hear the cook, Jason, singing along with the radio. 😊

From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed and at home. Everyone from the wait staff to the cook said hello. The place was little and cute. My husband and 1 friend had Prime Rib. They loved it. 2 of us had the Seafood Platter. It was excellent. We even got ice cream with a choice of just about any topping you can think of. Prices were good too. Huge baked potatoes

The Seafood Platter was good, but the Turkey Noodle Soup that came with it was one of the BEST soups I've ever had! I want to go back.
