The almond crossaints are delicious! And don’t get me started on their Vanilla Lattes, honestly the best way to start your morning! Definitely worth Trying out if you’re in the city, you won’t regret it! My dad is picky with his coffee and he loves this place!!

First visited there about a year and a half ago. One of the best Chicago coffee roasters around - hands down. I had the privilege of talking to the owner for a good while as I ate one of their awesome pastries. Super cool people who love coffee, are passionate about coffee and making it affordable, and passionate about having such a great spot for the local community to gather. I love that.

I used to live in the Back of the Yards area before my family moved to the suburbs about 20 years ago. It was great to go back to the neighborhood and visit. Very nostalgic.

I now have many, many friends hooked on Sputnik and THEY tell their friends and family about it now and they love it, too.

Love their whole bean coffee. Simple coffee with an easy flavor that is not too bold. We grind our beans the morning of, and we make a whole pot.

Bought the beans from Mariano’s. The coffee is great and a deal considering the other choices on the shelf. I’ll continue to purchase!!!

Simple and yet very good coffee shop that gets the job done. A limited coffee menu but is simple and straight to the point! Coffee at $1 is really cheap especially how prices are these days. Apparel is also available for purchase. This was a well worth trip.

We love this coffee! We stumbled upon it in our grocery store and haven't looked back. Now we order a 5lb bag every month! I can't drink starbucks anymore after this. The coffee is a straightforward and delicious. It's balanced with no burnt taste like you get from over roasted dark blends or acidity. It's mellow, full bodied, and very flavorful. It's special in a market saturated with gimmicks and over engineered coffee. This is what I want from my coffee place, just a damn good cup of coffee.

We will even make the drive in from the suburbs to visit the source and have them make us a lovely latte and cappuccino. The guys are so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, we enjoy talking with them!

Sputnik had been on my list for a while to try out for coffee beans, and I'm so glad I did! The gentleman (sorry I didn't get your name) was very kind and helpful! He asked if it was my first time at Sputnik, which it was, and was very helpful, informative, kind and welcoming. Everything is done in house, including roasting the beans. And let me tell you, it's some of the best coffee I've ever had. AMAZING! I bought a five pound bag of coffee beans and even shared some with my friends and family and every single one I've shared with has told me they loved the coffee!

Love this place. Honestly this coffee is one of the main reasons we no longer go to starbucks. This place is amazing and the staff is always so kind. We love it!!

This coffee shop is amazing. They not only have amazing coffee they give back to their community! They donated to my daughters toy drive which benefited kids in the back of the yards community. We are forever grateful for them! Check them out because their amazing!!!!!!!!
