We luv luv luv Sputnik!!! I go to the shop to pick up the 5lb bag of beans for my husband. The house smells so delicious when it's brewing. I stopped drinking coffee a few years ago it makes me want to start drinking again. Their Cold Brew is the only coffee I'll make an exception for. It's so richand flavorful with a unique note of sweetness at the end. Mmmmmmm

The baristas are very nice and social 😃, their donuts are surprisingly bigger then the average donuts you get at Dunkin’ or Krispy Kreme, and my good coffee enthusiast says that their coffee roasts are really good! Stop by here, its literally worth the trip!

Excellent coffee, roasted in house so it's always fresh! Come by on a Wednesday and watch them do it. And how can you beat the price? $1 for a small and $2 for a large. Pastries are always fresh and delicious. This coffee shop is one of the best hidden gems in the city. But, they do close early, so get there before 1pm and enjoy!

Very nice owner and staff. A young woman came into the shop and received her coffee with a different milk base. In which the barista/owner instantly ran toward to get her attention. Delicious Coffee - got an expresso and the misses got a coffee. Will definitely be coming back :)

So far I’ve met one of the owners and he has definitely made my experience at Sputnik incredibly pleasant. He is very welcoming and friendly and it is very easy start a conversation with him, which is great!

I love that they’ve opened their business in Back of the Yards and that their coffee is very affordable.

They have the best coffee! I love stopping in to get an iced one and am beyond thrilled to see the whole beans being sold at County Fair. Wonderful coffee, great people.

Disclaimer: I've never been to their coffee shop and had never even heard of them until recently. I first saw the name "Sputnik" on a small brown paper bag in the coffee section at the Devon Market on Devon street in Chicago and the price was right, so I purchased one of the brown bags, ground it on-site (I actually had to have the coffee spill into a plastic bag because the opening of their brown bag is too small) and brewed it in my French Press at home. The verdict: Their coffee is superb. I've gone on to buy Sputnik coffee at the same place ever since, and it's the only coffee I buy. Reasonably priced delicious coffee indeed.

The coffee is delicious and the pastries are wonderful!!!
