This place is cozy and a great vibe. The staff is so friendly and awesome. On top of providing great service they are interested in how your day is. I recommend there donuts. They are fresh baked and stuffed with real jelly/custard. There coffee is great price. I recommend it.

I feel like most of the people reviewing this place aren’t even from this neighborhood.

Legit gentrifiers and all you see is cops on there

Discovered this place a couple months ago as I showed up too early for my pre-travel COVID test at a nearby Walgreens. Serendipitous! Staff is super friendly. The $1 drip coffee hit the spot in the morning (bold without being bitter) and I was able to solve my coffee "problem" for my workation. Their 8 oz bags are perfect for travel (I've decided to make this place my go-to) and they'll grind the beans to your liking (I drink pour overs, black). 1 bag lasted 2 weeks, although I was able to stretch it to 3. This time, I made sure I got 2 bags for my trip.

Sputnik has very cool owners who educated me on the roasting process of coffee more than any place I've ever been. They have a passion for coffee and are all about getting it right! Plenty of places have coffee, but not enough of them treat it with the same care as Sputnik. They really love coffee!

I'm wishing these guy's the best as they deck out their shop! I can't wait to grab a coffee and spend some time in the park as we bring in the spring and summer!

This is the only coffee I drink now. When I order it, being local I have it 1-2 days after roasting. Amazing.

Espresso machine was down at time of visit so no idea how latte is but cold brew was good, smooth and strong. Homemade vanilla simple syrup!!! Great place, great vibe and outside seating. This place is a gem of the soufside and should be on your radar. Thanks guys for a amazing cup of coffee!

Amazing coffee and the friendliest people. 100% worth the hour trip from Lakeview. I can't wait to come back. From now on if you ask me where to go for good coffee, Sputnik will be my one and only answer regardless of where you are.

I started picking this up at Casa del Pueblo because it was the cheapest option and I appreciate how it has the roast date on the bag and I like the cute space dogs. It is surprisingly delicious! Excited to see it is local, will have to stop by some time.

This is such a great place to come for a good quality cup of coffee. No frills just 2 wonderful guys trying to change the game! I am so lucky to be so close to them. Everyone really needs to come by and show their support!
