I thought that Jeff had lost his mind when he opened up but wow has this place set the standard. Great coffee and friendly staff. Just have to have a little patients when there is a line. Jeff I miss you old friend. Love, Hugh

The environment here is lovely and Tamp is the Cornerstone of downtown culture. I usually have tea and any special requests I have are always accommodated. Great place to meet up.

A nice little coffee shop tucked into the busy Alexandria downtown area. They have free WiFi, and a small selection of anytime sandwiches and snacks. Very good cup of coffee as well.

Love everything about downtown. T&G represents what I'd like to see happen to the rest of downtown. Amazing atmosphere and beverage selection. The coffee was carefully selected and it is noticeable!

This is my go to coffee spot when I’m visiting family in the area. Great coffee, friendly staff, cool shop vibe, and some tasty treats. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Girl who took the order was just rude. Didn't tell me when my order was ready just uhg.. she didn't tell me my brown sugar coffee was actually brown sugar cinnamon. If I was allergic it would of been bad.

My Cafe au Lait which is my default at a coffee shop I've never been to was delicious. This was a really great place to stop and catch up with an old friend. Very quiet and relaxing.

I wasn’t impressed by this place, first off it’s a bit tight and feels crowded making my anxiety go into full panic mode. I ordered a chocolate based drink that I honestly cannot remember the name of I know it was along like 20 below or something. Needless to say I ordered it with soy milk and the barista made it with regular milk before noticing she had messed up, when I finally received my drink it didn’t taste good. It just tasted like water with a hint of chocolate, and being that they were busy I decided to not get it remade and just threw it away. I’d probably give them another try but I won’t be the one going inside.

Barista was really nice, but painfully slow- like 20- minutes before my latte was in hand. They were not busy. Latte wasn't great. Good internet and nice people won them the second star.
