Parable Coffee

Love the concept wish more businesses noticed the needs of the community and donated there meals to the drop in centers and homeless shelters rather than throw them out.

I stopped on on my 15 minute break (my office is nearby) around 3 pm. The shop is beautiful and the people working there were very nice. The coffee is very expensive, but they have a cool policy that you can pay what you want. The pastries are amazing, the coffee was pretty good but not quite my taste (they only have regular milk and oat milk, was not offered half and half). My biggest issue was how long it took. It took a really long time for me to get my coffee and they were not even busy. It didn't seem to be a staffing issue, but rather they just that they take their time. It took 14 minutes for me to get my coffee. I would not recommend going here if you're in a hurry or time crunch, but definitely nice if you have time to sit and relax.

$7 Large (not even large maybe 14oz)cold brew + addons @$2 a literal joke. They have it backwards cold brew is obviously cheaper. Mediocre.
price. Starbucks coldbrew is more for cheaper and in every possible way drastically better. Whoops.

Drinks are more expensive but this is because Parable is gratuity free and pays their employees a living wage. Not a place I can afford to go to all the time, but I love supporting a place like this. Their specialty drink menus are always stellar. Always makes me feel fancy 🧐

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Excellent single origin espresso. Definitely very busy around 10 a.m. on a weekday morning.

They also have a really nice selection of retail coffee from various roasters and some cool teas from Hugo Tea.

The service was very good, even though the server missed part of the order, so I didn't get the extra shot I ordered (but then, I didn't pay for it either). The music was loud, the acoustics amplified every sound, so it was not a relaxing atmosphere. I did see another patron with noise-cancelling headphones, I hope it helped.

This place is so adorable. Probably the best Matcha Latte I've had. It was very light and smooth. The guys were friendly and welcoming when I came in and helped make suggestions from the menu. Thank you for the great service.

Every coffee drink I’ve had here has been amazing! The inside space is beautiful too. I just wish they had bigger to-go cups for the iced drinks! I always drink my to-go latte in like 5 minutes, haha. But still, it’s so tasty!

Look folks—there’s no way to say it without getting on my soapbox: I have lived around the world and this is hands down some of the best coffee I have ever had. A group of friendly and welcoming folx serving up AMAZING coffee and GORGEOUS lattes. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed!

Good ambiance and study area but the coffee and tea are a bit pricy for about average quality. Certainly pricier than some spots in Chicago and Seattle
