Found reviews for donuts and thought I'd stop in. First, it has a cool Boho vibe once you step in the door. Smells were delicious. They no longer sell donuts and the muffins/pastries sell out pretty quick. Staff was very polite and friendly. Will try again another day!

I went in yesterday and did not expect for them to make iced coffee in the flash brew method. I'd never had it prepared that way but it was so much better and smoother than steeping the beans for a cold brew. The first round they asked what kind of roast I wanted which was also unexpected. The second time I wasn't asked but I was given a light roast and I still enjoyed it.

Very pleasant little coffee with fantastic coffee that's roasted in store. My wife and I will be spending a few hours here every weekend enjoying a French press or two. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is nice. The only thing missing is a nice gas fireplace right in the middle of the store to make it nice and cozy. We will be returning customers and highly recommend checking this cafe out!!

So far this is the worst coffeeshop I've tried in Columbus area. I ordered a basic mocha with almond milk (they didn't have oatmilk) and all the syrup was at the bottom of the cup. For a hot takeout drink this is worst case scenario. How am I supposed to mix it? Further, the unflavored espresso milk was served molten hot. It was hot like a fast food coffee.

Walls were half painted? Place smells and when I got my drink they literally only filled it half way. And the place is just dirty. Dust was on all the hanging lightbulbs they call decor. Over all the place can be way better, coffee was pretty slap tho.

The food and coffee was good. The service was quick. The store could use better ventilation for the work area as leaving the door open in the winter to cool off makes it rather uncomfortable for the guests. More wall outlets would be nice, too. Overall, a good experience. I'll be back.

Love this little shop. The crowd is usually pretty respectful so it isn't overly loud. The beverages are delicious and don't taste corporate. The staff is well trained and always courteous. One of my favorite spots to read, study, or gather my thoughts!

I feel that three stars is a little nice, but I've read other reviews and can see that people love this place. I asked around for any recommendations on local, preferably BIPOC-owned coffee shops which lead me to this place. I was excited to try this location; I always ask recommendations when going to new coffee shops. What I received here was "we have different beans and we can make pour overs." This was my first thumbs down. I inquired about house made syrups for the coffee for which they have none. The coffee I ended up getting (I can't even remember what it was) was lackluster to say the least--something that I could've made at home. I see the love Upper Cup has in the community, so I am willing to try it again. My major take away from my first visit: there's nothing special that entices me to return.

Great place to grab a coffee and light lunch. I really like their poor over system that allows them to make the coffee right in front of you. Atmosphere, as you would expect, is one open room with many small tables. It can get busy in the early afternoon and therefore loud if you are trying to focus. That being said most of the day at least one table has something hard at work enjoying a freshly ground pick me up.

My husband and I love Upper Cup! The staff is always so friendly, they have great coffee, and SUCH good breakfast sandwiches at a great price. We love to come to Creekside with our dog, send one person in for coffee, then walk the trails.
