Overall experience - 10/10
We had a phenomenal experience from the moment we walked in.
Service - 10/10
The service was incredible - our server in particular was wonderful, but every person that came to our table was delightful, knowledgable, and seemed to personally care about the food and the experience.
Food and drinks - 10/10
The dishes were amazing, we wish we were physically capable of eating more. I can't recommend the fish tacos or the camarones enough! The grilled squid was also great, I've never had more tender squid. We only had one cocktail but it was perfectly balanced and interesting (Sombra margarita).
Atmosphere - 10/10
Beautiful interior design, not stuffy at all, and perfect volume - not too quiet but not so loud that you have to shout across the table (why is that so hard to find sometimes?)

Hands down, the best dining experience we have had all year! Worth every penny.

Boring Caucasified American Mexican tweezer style seafood. This ain’t no high end Marisquería as I thought it would be. It’s just another new American spot that is New York prices with mediocre food. Wine list is good during happy hour some real gems on there but the food is to be avoided. Do yourself a favor, get 3 friend, fill up your gas tank and get a nice Airbnb in san Antonio and go eat at a Mariscos El Marinero. You will do all that and still your bill with drinks for 4 will be more at Este then an entire overnight trip to sam Antonio. While eating worse quality seafood product. Another highly missable new opening in Austin. Congrats, only this town can produce this level of mediocrity at these prices. Seafood tower is a real tax on your intelligence. The la tumbada should be in quotation marks. Not like any tumbada I’ve had before, and that’s not a complement. All the trout is gross. Morita butter lobster is oddly sweet. Grilled and turbot squid has like hummus with it? And both overcooked. Both of the aquachile just don’t hit like real versions. Very tamed and boring meal and the food lacks energy and freshness.

Este is my new favorite restaurant. I went with 6 ladies and our waiter Jonathon is our new fav person!! We were overwhelmed with everything on the menu (everything looks good). He offered to handle all of dishes and surprised us with the yummiest things. 10/10 best meal. Highly recommend!!

Tried a few dishes. Tuna crudo and desserts were the favorites.

The trout was quite expensive for the portion and seemed under seasoned.

Fish flautas were interesting in a good way. tasty.

Desserts alone could be a 5 star

wonderful meal, great menu, unique drinks, and excellent service... the rockfish ceviche with carrot and habanero was fresh and went perfectly with the fresh masa chip and accompanying salsas, the tuna tiradito was delicious and the fried leeks really set it off, then the fish tacos.... masa breaded swordfish with the lightest, crunchiest batter and fresh tortillas were the best fish tacos I've ever had (been thinking about them ever since). They also had a perfect Clasica Margarita or if you are feeling adventurous you can try the Blue Tang Clan with mezcal and rum, it was refreshing with a kick. This place isn't cheap but the experience is well worth the money

Apps were quite bland (Mixta, Aguachile) and too many chewy bits. Drinks excellent. Fried fish tacos pretty good but fried mushroom tacos very greasy.
I’ll stick to their sister restaurant Suerte!

Seafood cousin of the fantastic Mexican eatery, Suerte, on east 6th. The vibe is similar, but they may still have some kinks to work out. A couple of menu items were good, but most were unremarkable, especially at that price point. Our server seemed to have more tables than he could handle, as it was a solid 30 minutes after we finished our last plate before he came by to clear plates and discuss dessert or closing the tab. All with a one of people waiting out the door to get in. You'd think he'd have been all over getting us out the door so they could seat another table, yet we continued to wait. Hopefully they work out the kinks, but this experience was not up to Suerte standards.

First time trying it out
Tostada - fish taco - pen clams aquachile - couple of oysters and a cocktail seating at the counter
Enjoyed the food. - fresh - spicy but well balanced - bright and airy ambiance - definitely coming back with sone friends to try some more plates

Yummy. Did a great job with a differentiated take on Mexican. I enjoyed the fish tacos, the guac, the squid, and even the negra shrimp (raw shrimp are usually not my thing). The mixta tostada also punched above its weight. Enjoyed everything.

Had a great dinner here! Get the tuna tiradito, ceviche, butternut squash, mixta tostada. I'd probably skip the trout, it was good fish wise but wasn't a fan overall on the dish.
