Our party of 6 had a very unpleasant dining experience at Cured. First, the restaurant ran out of their only steak option on the menu.
We were told, “We don’t have the steak that is on the menu but for $10 more we can offer you different one.”
Not only were we informed a while after we ordered that they didn’t have it, but now for more money we were going to have to wait even longer for our food.
When our food finally arrived, the steak did not have any flavor and my fries were cold and hard. I politely asked if they could be warmed and our waitress was very pleasant and took care of that right away.
I did not enjoy the steak at all, it was lukewarm and flavorless. My boyfriend also did not enjoy his gumbo, it was very bland.
Toward the end of our meal, we ordered coffee and while we were waiting, a man suddenly appeared at our table, didn’t introduce himself and started setting down spoons. He eventually stated he was one of the owners and asked us in a rude, confrontational manner if everything was ok. It wasn’t, but his manner was so off putting we just wanted the whole awkward situation to be over! He was very condescending to us all.
When my coffee arrived it was lukewarm.
At some point another person brought a bread pudding to our table that we did not order without any explanation.
We didn’t touch it in case it was a mistake. When our waitress returned she stated it might be from the chef but she wasn’t sure and would check.
By the time we were told it was in fact from the chef, it had been sitting for a while and was not very good.
All in all, terrible dining experience. We paid close to $200 for two people, with 20 % tip as the waitress was very polite and friendly and none of what transpired was her fault and she did try her best in a bad situation.
I would like to point out it is understandable restaurants run out of certain items and sometimes the food doesn’t turn out great, but this was just handled poorly and without a genuine attempt to provide a good customer experience by one of the owners.
In the end, that is the reason we will not return.

We started with a couple of great cocktails. Went with the cheese board for an appetizer and it was fantastic. Fried chicken and doughnuts for the main and it was very flavorful and delicious.

Worst burger in my life!!! Visited for a hope to have a great Wagyu juicy triple burger. Received instead salty as hell, overcooked with no juice triple slice meat between two buns with no additives except for extremely sweet onion jam. McDonalds would be A+++ grade compared to this. Avoid this place!

10/10 happy hour. The fried quail legs, poutine and ice cream with a shot of plum wine were great. I was easily tempted into picking up some cured meats and preserved fruits to go as well.

This place is really cool. I’m a little bit of a foodie and this place was my kinda of place. I was a little disappointed in the waiter/ waitress staff they didn’t know what was in the food 🥘 and they brought a large plate to us as we were still trying to enjoy our small plates. Let us finish our course or ask us if we want it all to come out at the same time. The food was delicious and atmosphere was great.

They charge extra if you dare to ask for lettuce and a tomato.
Everything is very salted but the place and staff are lovely. Nice for large groups.

Went for our anniversary, food was great, had to send a steak back to be redone due to it being overcooked but service took care of it really well. Would definitely recommend for a night out.

This was an amazing place for a date night. If from out of town or in town I’d recommended. The meal was amazing. Our waiter Ruby was awesome. Great wine list and cocktail list. Get the charcuterie board and an entree and split that for you both. After you can walk around the pearl or go lay on the turf and look at the stars.

A great night of unbelievable charcuterie at Cured at Pearl One of the most amazing restaurant of this year. Must try if you are in the San Antonio. Servers are very knowledgeable and attentive, it is very refreshing to know all the staffs know the details of their restaurant, even the ceiling and panels. Great job on the training and choose the great team.

What could be said that already hasn't been said? This place is romantic enough to celebrate a special moment and intimate enough for a group setting. They have a dining room, bar, and outdoor seating. The food and cocktails are refined, unique, and specially crafted. You will spend some $$$ here. Try their happy hour to spread your $.
