I met some friends upstairs at Tru for drinks after a long day, and I loved the atmosphere. Relaxing in comfortable furniture outside and starting the evening with a welcoming (and handsome) bartender was lovely. Bustling without being noisy, and great wine. What's not to love?

We eat and relax here often. Mellow energy and peaceful surroundings complement excellent, reasonably priced food.

We were surprised on our second visit when the manager(?) discovered our meal had been overlooked and she more than made it right before we even realized anything was amiss.

Tasty food for those on tight budgets. Great outdoor seating when the weather is nice. The service is very inconsistent, and they seem to have supply chain issues (they are nearly always out of something). Fortunately the employees are generally warm and friendly.

Very good sandwich! It is a very neat layout inside. Annoying to have to have an "acct" to place an order. (Out of chips! This should never happen. Mgr. go to Walmart or Sam's Club if you have to for fill-in!).

One of my favorite lunch spots in Chapel Hill, Tru always has a quiet, relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect for catching up one-on-one with a friend. Just order a build-your-own sandwhich or salad at their digital ordering koisks, pay the attendent, then grab a number and sit down while the staff make and deliver your order. (Don't forget to pick up your drinks and chips seperately from the counter though! The infused water is great and free.) The variety of comfortable outdoor seating and location away from the noise of Franklin Street also makes Tru one of the most pleasant places to eat outdoors. Definitely a recommended stop for visitors or residents.

Great food, awesome atmosphere, pet friendly attitude is a huge plus. They have free wifi and it can be a great spot to go study during the day. It's also nice that you create your food a la carte, great if you're balling on a budget!

My favorite bar in chapel hill. They have an amazing atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Some of the best tequila deals you can get anywhere and their sandwiches are superb.

Wow amazing experience. Cam Peterson, our waiter, was the epitome of class. Shout out to cam, give that man a raise‼️💯👍

Best combination of environment, staff, food, and beer in town (by far). Great seating options both indoors and outdoors. Fresh ingredients for 100% custom salads, sandwiches, and wraps. Fantastically curated West coast beer selection.

Awesome place for a bottle of wine with your friends! Very social table setting, as well as you have the chance to retreat to the back. Friendly enough staff, however not all of them knows a lot about the wines. Can get quite busy!
