The bar is charming and provides a variety of unique seating options. The service was great and the drinks were on point.

Stayed here with my wife for 3 nights in May. On the positive side, the building itself was beautiful with 14-16 foot ceilings and very spacious verandas, beautiful trees and other flora. The common areas were very nice and inviting. Folks staffing the bar and coffee shop were great. The room we stayed in was nice although dark with a lack of good lighting throughout. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom and shower were nice but no shelf or space to place our toiletries. AC was fine (it was mid-90's and humid outside during the day). On the negative side, the elevator wasn't working and although one of the waiters from the bar helped my wife carry her luggage up to the top of the stairs, we had to make our way back down by ourselves when checking out. It was very dark in the corridor and we had to use our cell phone flashlights to figure the numbers on the doors to find our room. All in all, I wouldn't consider this a 4 star hotel and it wasn't worth the $390/night cost (including taxes). My wife really wanted to stay there and she loved it. But, I won't stay there again at that cost - maybe $225 would be more worth it.

Classic NOLA mansion turned small hotel on St. Charles Ave. Individually styled rooms. Location for the movie "Pretty Baby"

Columns is Uptown New Orleans at its finest. Beautiful and timeless - the atmosphere is just right for a cocktail (great happy hour). Inside is eclectic and warm. Outside seating (about June thru Aug!) Is also really charming. Service is always top notch. And brunch is divine.

Great place to stop for food and a drink. A beautiful property to see!

We went here for drinks between excursions on our New Orleans trip—one of our party had been here repeatedly and thought it would be a nice quiet spot. The drinks were pretty good, if a bit of a spin on what you typically expect for them! Fun, chill atmosphere with a cool feel. Bathrooms were clean and super funky/weird! Would go again.

We ate at the restaurant outside on the patio. Lovely menu and enjoyed the food! Wonderful service đź’—

The hospitality here is unmatched. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. The food and cocktails will have you wondering when is too soon to return. Rooms give the right amount of old-school charm with modern amenities. 12/10 would recommend the Columns. Also, they host the best private parties/events!! If you're considering a brunch, birthday, or wedding look no further than Rachel at The Columns.

We didn’t stay there, just had a cup coffee. Really nice place, very friendly staff.

Stunning beautiful lobby and bar. Delightful garden. It looks wildly expensive and perhaps exclusive from the gate, so you’ll be surprised how warmly you’ll be welcomed and very happy you came.
You can come by for coffee in the morning and then lunch, dinner and drinks are available though the day. We make a point to bring out of town guests here…. Everyone LOVES it.
We have only visited as locals on bicycles but a staycation beckons at some point in the future!
